Benefits of
investing in the Rewards Group Premium
Timber Project 2009:
❑ |
Exposure to a defensive asset class that has no correlation with market based investments, has low volatility and is an excellent inflation hedge. |
❑ |
Growing two distinct premium timbers in one project offers regional, product & customer diversity, which is expected to reduce risk and increase the overall returns. |
❑ |
The value of both teak and sandalwood has increased substantially above the rate of inflation, irrespective of the instability of the global financial markets.
|
❑ |
Growers have the opportunity to dispose of their Woodlot(s) after 4 years without resulting in the loss of initial tax deductions. |
❑ |
The Project will ease pressure on native timber supplies, help reduce soil degradation on farmlands and create a sink for greenhouse gases. |
❑ |
Significant tax deductions are expected for expenditure incurred by Growers. Tax deductions will be supported by an Australian Taxation Office Product Ruling. |
❑ |
Applicants should consider the PDS in its entirety in deciding whether or not to apply for units in the Project. |
